I’m Laura Lye, the designer and founder of Muse.
I’ve been designing clothing and working with women and colour for more than 20 years.
Muse was born in Victoria in 2008 from a simple belief: when you understand the colours and shapes that work for you, getting dressed becomes easier—and you feel more like yourself.
Today, I design Muse clothing in Salmon Arm and work with women throughout the Shuswap, Okanagan and beyond from my studio in Salmon Arm, BC.
I believe getting dressed should feel good—not complicated.

Gather 6–8 women and I'll bring the drapes, mirror and studio experience to you. Each guest receives her own personalized colour analysis and laminated seasonal colour card.

I’m interested in the things that make a woman feel instantly more herself: the right colour, the right proportion, the right fabric and clothing that actually works for the life she lives.
My approach is personal and considered. Rather than endless choices, I help you discover what suits you—and then build from there.
